I have been using this bag in my appliance repair business since august of 2019. Perfect for my set up. Everything has a place and I can find it with my eyes closed. I can do 90% of my repairs with just what I carry in it one side for mechanical tools an the other for technology I’m glad I not get the xl it would be packed way too heavy. This limits me to just enoughThis is great bag hands down if you are an HVAC tech, plumber, or electrician. It is obviously well thought out and has a side for your multimeter, manometer and temp/humid gauges and accessories as well as a mini screw gun. The other side has the ability to hold a good amount of hand tools. However you will not be able to put all your hand tools in this bag. I am considering adding the regular LC model to take the rest of my hand tools. The quality of the bag is fine but I have some concern for the zippers. They are not the same quality as the rest of the bag. The side pockets are a waste and really don't hold much and should have been made looser to actually hold a tool. I have added the meter bag and I hang it on the tape measure holder. I put my tape measure inside the bag. The bag looks good and will impress your customers which is important to me as a business owner. As far as the weight goes (as indicated on other bag reviews) it is not a problem for me. I am over 60 and it is not that heavy to carry around. Carrying it in and out of the house is not a big deal. I recommend this bag to anyone who is in the market for one. The price is higher than most but it is not prohibitive in my opinion. After all snap on sells tool boxes for 15,000 bucks. Should you be like me and buy better tools and expensive electronics it should not be difficult to put them in a $150.00 bag. Go for it you won't be disappointed.Update:Well it is a year later and my bag has held up fine. My concern for the zippers was not validated. They have held up fine. This is a great product and has held up better than any other tool bag I have owned over the years. I really don't see having to replace this bag, It will outlast me.A coworker has one of these and was impressed at what it could handle and how well built it is.First of all, shipping was originally quoted at 7-10 days and it arrived in 2. So thumbs up to the seller.I love these bags, I've been using a Pro Pac MC for the past three years and its been outstanding. I liked the portability of the MC but I wanted to have more tools with me.The biggest perk of this tool bag is the amount of complements you'll get. I've had countless tool bags and boxes, and this is by far the best.I work in the maintenance department at my factory, which means I need a wide variety of tools throughout the day. This tool bag is perfect for hand tools and smaller drivers/impacts.It's bound to get you complements, I had several coworkers ask me where I found it. Needless to say, I didn't mention the price. Is it worth $200? At first I would've said no, but I've fallen in love with it. Durability is unbeatable. This is the best bag from Veto, in my opinion.Give Veto Pro Pac a try, I guarantee you'll love it.I am an appliance repair technician, I am in and out of 8-10 houses a day, in and out of my bag even more. I had a CLC bag that was similar, just a bit larger that was my trusty companion for almost 10 years. It finally gave out and i had been eyeballing this bag for a while now. After 2 weeks on the job i can say this, the smaller size makes it easier to get to and from the job site and into my truck. It holds the same amount of tools i had in the larger bag, everything is more organized and the bag ended up being lighter then the CLC. The strap is nice and wide and helps spread the weight out, plus i actually found the strap clip very useful. I've had positive comments about the bag from a few customers, they like the design and looks of it. It goes a long way with looking professional when your not searching through the bottom of a bag for that certain tool you need. My only bitch is i don't really like the tape holder, I like the strap through design a bit more but i may get used to this.I've been using a Stanley fat max bag of a similar design for a few years, after it started falling apart I felt an upgrade was a good idea. I was able to fit all my hand tools including an estwing 16 oz claw hammer, with the exception of my 18v makita hammer drill and impact driver, which I hang on the outside D rings. I have two meters, a cell phone battery bank, a Verizon mi-fi, Sony bluetooth speaker and a husky parts box with my drill bits and driver bits in it in the meter side. Everything has its place and its very easy to see if there's anything missing at a quick glance. The tape holder, knife holder, measuring tape clip and sharpie pockets are awesome as well! Love the shoulder strap because it's comfortable and clips to the handle. Very thought out design, heavy materials and quality construction of this bag surpassed my expectations, you definitely get what you pay for here. 5 year warranty with a loaner bag while you wait for a new one or your bag to be repaired is killer too, great job Veto!Bought this February 2014. Was in service up to September 2017. What finally took it out was the zipper threads pulled out on both sides. The zipper threads pulled out on one of the little pouches after maybe a year. I had to tighten the zippers many times over the year also. They would loosen and the zips(?) would pull apart. I used this bag 5-6 days a week for 6-10 service calls a day. By far the best bag I've ever had. Most would only last two years tops but with major wear and had to throw them away. I've temporarily removed mine from service until I can have brass zippers installed. Bought a klein bag as backup and very disappointed with the design and quality. I'm writing this review as I'm shopping for a new tech-lc so I can have two. The price is twice what I was spending on my old clc bags until they were discontinued. But I fine with spending my money on GOOD tools. This bag hasn't got endlessly deep pockets, but that's what you need if you want to buy this! It's not as big as I needed for a 'technicians' toolbag. Having said that after I rationalised what I was carrying (stuck a load into a different bag) the most essential tools fit very snugly into this incredibly tough bag. Is it worth the huge price tag, or having that 'Mary Poppins' look about you - the jury is still out. This is not cheap but I have to say the quality is superb and IMO worth the additional cost compared to rivalsLoads of tool pockets and heavily reinforced stitching makes this a quality productGets all my daily test meters in one side and all my hand tools on the otherThis is more suited to service engineers needs and as such is perfectOnly just starting to get used to this bag now, it has some great features and is undoubtedly great quality. I used to have a bucket type bag which access to tools was great but because a lot of the tool pouches were on the outside it could be a pain to carry any distance especially with the shoulder strap as the tools kept getting caught on clothing etc. That's the main reason I went for this bag because it looked easier for carrying and believe me it is, I love it, but just have to get used to the slightly more restricted access to tools as they are all stacked in together with little spacing. Don't get me wrong they come out easily and fit in well it's just they are all grouped together so you tend to be hunting a little more for the tool you require, then just working your way past other tools to get at it, obviously this will get better over time with use hence it's still worth 5 stars. The way the shoulder strap mounts on the handle is brilliant and keeps it out of the way on the van and when carrying it by the handle. The zips are great quality as are the tool pouches. A great variety of sized holders allowing for my meters and other tools to all sit in it nicely. I would definitely buy again even though it is very pricey and I'm considering getting one of the smaller meter bags to clip on the end to free up more room inside this one :-) Looks the business as well when you go into a customers and roll the flap down to show your tool collection off, well worth the cost IMHO.I like many others thought long and hard before taking the plunge. Several cheaper bags later I thought it was time. And why oh why did it take me so long. Absolutely amazing. I carry out property maintenance and find that I can get everything (and more) in this Veto that I need to carry out most jobs that I need to. Well done Veto, definitely designed by a tradesman that knows what is needed. If you are like I was still unsure, don’t waste anymore time buy it.I, like another reviewer here, was in two minds about buying this. I kept coming back to it, “Should I? Shouldn’t I?” It is a lot of money but I can thoroughly recommend this. All my tools are now exactly where I need them. Very easy to get hold of what I need when I need it. Plenty of clips to hang things on the outside. I have a small spanner, mini spirit level, radiator bleed key on carabiner’s. Another great feature is the shoulder strap. The bag is perfectly weighted and frees up my right hand to carry other things in and out of jobs. Its not a big bag and I am unable to get my hammer (buy one of the smaller Ox ones from Toolstation) or long screwdrivers in but I think the one up from this would have been too big for a standard plumber’s kit. Also, you need to be able to lift the thing once all the tools are in! Buy it. You won’t regret it.
