(4/24/21) five years in the pac is finally broken in, no holes only scratchs on the bottom plastic everything is like the day i bought it, this thing just lasts and lasts. coworker has gone through three wheeled tool bags in the same time frame. i get lots of compliments from customers aboot this bag. worth every penny and then some, just buy it already.(Rereview 11/7/17)Absolutely love this tool bag, I've had it for 1 1/2 years now and it has outlasted every other tool bag I've ever owned. Still looks and feels brand new. The padding on the shoulder straps is still in excellent condition with no damage or decrease in padding thickness or comfort.(same goes for the padding on the back the backpack) All pockets and straps are also in perfect working order, no holes or rips from screwdrivers, scissors, keyhole saw exc. All zippers, clasps, Velcro are intact and working. In fact the only damage to this tool bag is on the very bottom of the bag, I'm talking aboot the waterproof hard plastic shell that this bag sits on. It is scratched, and only scratched (lightly). This after a year and a half of abuse 6 days a week. I am very rough on my equipment previous tool bags only lasted six months to a year tops. This bag will survive a three foot drop onto a corner of the plastic base, being thrown angrily into the bag of the truck as hard as you can, and being kicked down a flight of stairs, all while being fully loaded and zippered up. Through all that Nothing got broken or moved out of place. (No laptop was inside the bag ever, in its place is the plastic parts bin in the pictures, still the original parts bin. I am very pleased with the tool bag, because it makes my job easier and more comfortable. I will purchase again if this bag ever gives up and says uncle. Upgraded to five stars.(Original review July of 2016)I've had this tool bag for aboot 4 months now, so far so good, only a couple of complaints. 1. Needs an electrical tape lanyard. (Preferably a detachable one) 2. I've already lost $50.00 worth of tape measures due to the outside the bag tape holder, no it wasn't due to theft, the tapes fell off while walking, and every time I toss the bag into the truck. Word to the wise get a small tape and put it inside the bag. 3. This bag will tip over if you put to much weight on the front flap "workbench" hand tools only, my drill tip it over immediately. 4. Very difficult to find a small screw or part that has been dropped to the bottom of the bag.ProsVery well made, serious craftsmanship on this one.Very comfortable to carry with the top handle, and feels light as a feather once it's on you back and adjusted properly. And all my tools fit including my drill extra battery and large parts bin which is 14x9x2 inches see picsBy the way I'm a window blind installer yes window treatments, I'm that guy that shows up to the jobsite, is there for one day, gets in everyone's way and puts up all the blinds. I am never at one window for more then a half hour max, I'm constantly on the move so this was the logical choice for a tool bag because I'm using lifts, ladders, and stairs all day. This bag makes it easier to get around, then all the other tool bags I have had. Plus my arms are free to carry shades with me to the next window saving time and an extra trip.I recommend this product if you are on the move a lot or have to walk long distances.P.S. It's not in the pictures but that tiny little pocket on the front bottom of the outside of the bag is excellent for band aids I've got aboot 30 of them in there.I love how It has a built in hook to hang it from anything and work on your computer off of it. It's like having a portable desk with all your toolsIt’s tight and efficiently laid out. The bag isn’t for everyone though. If you have a bunch of small hand tools a drill, a meter or two, and a tablet or laptop -this might be for you. If you have bulkier stuff I’d suggest the build-out model with the bulk storage option. All in all, I give an A+ for toughness and a B for price. My only wish is that it was made in the US.Plenty of room for your tools, once you start you can’t stop I love my veto tech pro bagsThis is a great tool backpack! It carries all of my essential tools. Now I can carry my heavy ladder with both hands and my tools in one trip. Great for my work in property maintenance. My 12v drill and 12v flashlight fit snugly but I wouldn’t try to fit my 18v tools in it. 12v tools are plenty powerful and light nowadays anyway. Love that the front and back of the bag stay off the ground since I’m often working in dirty locations. The bag also doesn’t topple over. And an extra perk is all the compliments I’ve gotten. It really is a good looking tool bag.I purchased this bag as I need a laptop and hand tools on jobs. I got tired of lugging around two bags or going back for a bag. I purchased this bag thinking it was the answer to my issue. The bag is great for being sturdy and giving the ability to carry tools and laptop. My downfalls are once the tools and laptop is in the bag it gets “difficult” to zip up. Seems the openings are too narrow and you have to push in on it to close it. For my use of it was spittle more spacious it would have gotten 5 stars.I am a Lighting Controls Technician and my first Tech Bag was not this bag in which it should of been to begin with. The VETO PRO PAC Tech Pac LT Tool Bag was the perfect bag and it held all the necessary tools that I need to carry including a Lenovo Yoga 15 laptop (15.6" bigger than my MacBook Pro Retina 15"). This Pac keep my laptop protected from top to bottom and with a strap to insure it doesn't move around this bag has my laptop secured really well. With the solid bottom base the VETO PRO PAC not only protects the laptop and tools but keeps the backpack sitting straight up and it never leans forward or looks off balanced when you set it down, stays straight up and you even don't have to lean it against the wall to keep it up. Again I don't carry a lot of tools in this bag and it's still a little heavy but it's a tool backpack that holds a laptop/tablet it's worth getting that extra workout carrying this backpack. I added a velcro tape so that I can add one of my name tape (from the military) so that everyone knows not to pick up or touch this former Joe's bag, plus it looks cool. So again this bag is worth every penny and I have attached some photos in which hopefully this will help you answer some questions on this tool backpack.Do you need a laptop and tools? Are you in and out of buildings? If you do tech work in the city, you know that you need a backpack that can carry tools as well as laptop and writing material. This bag is the answer. It carries your main tools and keeps everything in a low profile package. The strap system really helps redistribute the weight. So it doesn't feel as heavy once it's on your back. You will feel it picking it up though. The one main draw back for it. The second being that the strap system makes it difficult for quick access to the laptop and writing material "compartment". The stored hook is another big perk that you don't realize until you use it. Overall, any drawbacks are heavily outweighed by perks. If all you need are tools, this is not for you. Same if you are going to carry a laptop, 2 screw drivers and a punch down. This is for the tech who has to carry everything with him.YOU PAID HOW MUCH FOR A TOOL BAG!!!!!!. When i told my co-workers that i had bought this bag they thought i was crazy and had more money than sense. When it arrived and i had filled it with my tools arrived at work after a walk from london euston to the job as fresh as a daisy whilst my coworkers who had less tools were dead on there feet.I could go on for ages about how good these bags are but take my word for it within a week of me purchasing mine all my co workers had bought the same bag.pure and simple.... look at the others by all means and maybe buy a cheaper bag until it breaks but these are the nuts......if the was a way of giving these a 6/5 review i wouldBrilliant tool bag. I'm a M&E project manager and purchased this bag to replace my backpack solution I've been using for years as a toolbag/ survey bag/ briefcase/ commissioning bag. I few of my engineers have used Veto bags for years so I know they last the distance and they create such a great, professional impression to the client on site. I finally decided to take the plunge and invest in this Veto bag and I'm very happy so far. Bag is exceptionally sturdy and well made. Back pocket is a decent enough size to accommodate my 12" tablet/laptop, a few A4 sleeves and soft back folders, all my tech accessories (chargers, stylises, usb mouse, spare battery pack), and my mini stationary shop I cart around everywhere. The tool bag pocket is big enough to carry all the bits I need and there are loads of pockets to keep everything organised. I would've preferred if the tool pockets were a little more flexible allowing a greater variety of tools to be carried in an organised fashion but then I'm still familiarising myself with the options available. I'm currently finding the best way for me is to keep my main tool bag in my van and to restock the tools in my Veto bag specific to the various different tasks I need to complete on each site.not that good, pockets are thick but not giving enough space for larger tools, i think material used it too thick so space got wasted, I have returned my backpack and purchased fatmax on wheelsWithout doubt the best laptop/tool bag I have ever had.Robust as hell, comfortable when carrying, insane amount of of pockets tool storage. The only negative I see is it is a little on the heavy side, but that is the price you pay for quality like this.Amazing product. Best backpack I've ever had, as a BEMS engineer I have been through multiple swissgear synergy's and this I can tell is going to keep going, and going, and going. DO IT!
